New Delhi, Aug 18 (PTI) The capital city began its week with a minimum temperature of 24.8 degrees Celsius, which is 1.7 degrees below the seasonal average.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature for the day is anticipated to reach 34 degrees Celsius.

The forecast suggests that the day will have a generally cloudy sky, accompanied by one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.

Humidity was notably high at 97 percent at 8:30 am, indicating damp and heavy air conditions.

On the bright side, Delhi's residents enjoyed satisfactory air quality with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 77, signifying relatively good air conditions.
