Ahead of his appearance before the CBI in connection with the liquor policy case, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on 26 February 2023 held a roadshow.

The Aam Aadmi Party leader tweeted that he is ready to be jailed, saying that he is a follower of Bhagat Singh who was hanged for the country. Sisodia said that spending a few months in jail on false charges is a small thing. The Deputy CM also said that he would fully cooperate with the CBI investigation.

Meanwhile, Sisodia's colleague Sanjay Singh claimed that Aam Aadmi Party leaders were being placed under house arrest ahead of the Deputy CM's questioning. Singh accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being scared of Arvind Kejriwal.
