According to the advisory, traffic restrictions would be put in place for Kartavyapath- Rafi Marg crossing, Kartavyapath- Janpath crossing, Kartavypath- Mansingh Road crossing, and Kartavyapath- C- Hexagon from 10.15 am to 12.30 pm.
People going from north Delhi to south Delhi and vice versa can take Ring Road, Sarai Kale Khan, I.P. Flyover, Rajghat, Lajpat Ral Marg, Mathura Road, Bhairon Road, Ring Road, Aurobindo Marg, Safdarjung Road, Kamal Attaturk Marg, Kautilaya Marg, it said.
For people travelling from east to southwest Delhi, Ring Road can take the Vande Matram Marg.
Motorists coming to Vinay Marg, Shanti Path or going to New Delhi and beyond should take Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, roundabout RML, Baba Kharak Singh Marg or Park Street &ndash; Mandir Marg and proceed further to North Delhi or New Delhi, the advisory added.&nbsp;

A nine-year-old girl died at a hospital in Jammu on Wednesday, taking the number of mysterious deaths in a remote village in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district to 15 in one-and-a-half months while the police set up a special investigation team to probe the reason for the fatalities.
Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Sakeena Masood ruled out any mysterious disease as the reason for the deaths in Badhaal village, saying all tests conducted both within and outside the Union Territory have shown negative results.&nbsp;
On Wednesday evening, Zabeena, who was undergoing treatment at the SMGS hospital in Jammu, died, the officials said, adding her four other siblings and their grandfather died over the past four days.
All the victims showed similar symptoms such as vomiting and loss of consciousness, they said, adding that six children of Mohammad Aslam were admitted to the hospital on Sunday and only one of them was still fighting for life.&nbsp;
The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the BJP launched a scathing attack on the National Conference-led government in the Union Territory for its "inaction" over the deaths and urged the Centre to rush experts to properly investigate the cause of the fatalities.&nbsp;
"The Omar Abdullah-led administration has failed to prioritise the health and safety of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Such negligence is unacceptable and the government must take immediate responsibility to ensure that this crisis is brought under control," Jammu and Kashmir BJP spokesperson Tahir Choudhary said.&nbsp;
Amid growing concern over the mysterious deaths, the administration has directed officials to analyse reports from institutions to identify the cause of the deaths.
Initial reports indicate the presence of certain neurotoxins in the samples of the deceased, which are being further investigated to determine the reasons behind these fatalities.&nbsp;
Senior Superintendent of Police of Rajouri Gaurav Sikarwar said the 11-member special investigation team (SIT) headed by the Superintendent of Police (operations) Budhal, Wajahat Hussain, has been formed keeping in view the sensitivity of the inquest proceedings initiated into the deaths.&nbsp;
Apart from police officials, the team also included experts from the Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Department, Microbiology Department, Paediatrics Department and the Pathology Department.&nbsp;
According to an order, the SIT in charge will also use the service of experts from food safety, agriculture, Jal Shakti (Public Health Engineering) Departments and experts of the FSL team, Jammu, for investigation. It has been directed to share the progress of the investigation with the district police office on a weekly basis.
Earlier during the day, Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Masood expressed concern over the mysterious deaths and said that the police and the civil administration would undertake a speedy probe to unveil the mystery.&nbsp;
"The health department has mobilised its entire machinery after getting information about five deaths and screened 3,500 villagers going door to door. It took samples from the villagers and sent those for testing in various laboratories both within and outside Jammu and Kashmir. "Three more people died a few days later, prompting the department to seek the assistance of the country's premier health institutions. Their teams arrived here and carried out a detailed investigation," Masood told reporters.&nbsp;
She said the mysterious deaths started occurring again after a gap of more than 40 days and it is evident that if the fatalities were caused by any disease, it would have spread immediately and would not have been restricted to three families living in close vicinity.&nbsp;
All tests conducted within and outside Jammu and Kashmir, including at the Indian Council of Medical Research in Pune, National Centre for Disease Control in Delhi, Defence Research and Development Establishment in Gwalior and the microbiology department at PGI-Chandigarh, have returned negative results, the minister said. She added that same is the case with reports of samples of water and other food items collected from the area.&nbsp;
"The health department could not find any disease, virus or infection that caused the deaths," said Masood, who visited the village last month to take stock of the situation.

PM Modi took a moment to admire the temple's design, noting how it embodies spirituality and knowledge. Further, the Prime Minister highlighted the government's continuous efforts for the welfare of the nation, citing initiatives such as the construction of toilets in every house, providing Ujjwala gas connections to poor women, and ensuring tap water facilities for every household. The STF's primary focus will be dismantling drug trafficking networks, targeting major drug lords, and enhancing intelligence gathering with swift forensic analysis. It will also conduct joint operations, seize illicit assets, and use preventive detention to target habitual offenders. To ensure swift legal proceedings, the government plans to establish special courts for cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, with fast-track investigations and prosecutions.
In addition to enforcement, the government will prioritize rehabilitation through expanded access to treatment and support programs. The "Him Veer" and "Him Dost" initiatives will engage the community, supported by statewide awareness campaigns in educational institutions. The STF will also monitor de-addiction centers to ensure their proper functioning and prevent misuse.
The STF will be operational across three zones&mdash;Dharamshala, Parwanoo, and Mandi&mdash;with each zone overseen by a Superintendent of Police. Its headquarters will be located in Shimla, and progress reports will be submitted to the government every two weeks for review and strategic adjustments.
"This comprehensive initiative reflects the government&rsquo;s commitment to eradicating drug abuse and promoting a safer, healthier Himachal Pradesh," said CM Sukhu.

The city's Air Quality Index (AQI) plunged into the 'very poor' category, with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) recording an AQI of 344 at 7 a.m., a significant drop from 252 at the same time the previous day.
Detailed AQI data revealed some of the worst-affected areas in Delhi. Vivek Vihar recorded the highest AQI of 414, signaling severe pollution. Other notable figures included Nehru Nagar at 394, Rohini at 399, and Wazirpur at 408. Areas like Okhla Phase-2 (380) and RK Puram (373) also reported alarming levels.
An AQI range between 301 and 400 is classified as 'very poor,' posing a serious health risk, especially to vulnerable groups, while readings above 400 are deemed 'severe,' indicating hazardous air quality. The ongoing cold wave in the capital has further exacerbated the pollution crisis.
Passengers traveling during this period are urged to stay updated on travel advisories and take necessary precautions to avoid inconvenience amid the Republic Day restrictions and environmental challenges.

 "I have filed the nomination. I would like to tell the people of Delhi that please vote for work, on one side there is a party that works and on the other side, there is a party that abuses... So vote for work, education, health, electricity, water, roads, vote for these things. A lot of work has been done. There is still a lot of work left to be done, so I hope that people will vote for hard work. They (BJP) have neither a CM nor vision and narrative," said the former Chief Minister.
Kejriwal has represented the New Delhi Assembly constituency since 2015, securing significant victories in previous elections. In 2015, he defeated BJP&rsquo;s Nupur Sharma with a margin exceeding 35%. In the 2020 elections, he triumphed over BJP's Sunil Kumar Yadav with a vote margin of over 30%, receiving 46,758 votes.

Expressing optimism about AAP&rsquo;s prospects, party MP Sandeep Pathak stated, "The question is not only about this seat but there is a very good atmosphere in favour of AAP in the whole of Delhi... the public is fully aware that if BJP comes, all the good work being done here will be stopped."
The Delhi Assembly polls will be conducted in a single phase, with results to be announced on February 8. The AAP has declared candidates for all 70 seats, while the BJP has finalized candidates for 59 constituencies. The nomination process will close on January 17, followed by scrutiny on January 18, and the final date for withdrawal of candidature is January 20.
The Congress, once dominant in Delhi politics with a 15-year reign, has faced significant setbacks in the last two assembly elections, failing to secure a single seat. AAP, on the other hand, has maintained a stronghold, winning 62 out of 70 seats in 2020, while the BJP managed only eight seats.

Hussain, a former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor, has been fielded by the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) as their candidate for the Mustafabad constituency.
According to jail sources, Hussain was released under heavy security provided by the Delhi Police and left the jail premises around 9:15 am. His parole is linked to his involvement in a murder case related to the violence that erupted in northeast Delhi on February 24, 2020, which resulted in the deaths of 53 people and left many others injured. &nbsp;

A Historic Milestone for India
With this achievement, ISRO successfully docked two satellites in space under its SpaDeX mission, making India the fourth country, after the United States, Russia, and China, to demonstrate the ability to dock satellites.
Docking Completed After Delays
Although the docking process had been delayed earlier due to technical issues on January 7 and 9, ISRO was able to complete the docking on Thursday. The successful docking followed a trial on January 12, where the satellites were brought as close as 3 meters before safely moving apart for further assessment.
SpaDeX: A Key Technological Milestone
Launched on December 30 via PSLV, the SpaDeX mission involved two satellites, SDX01 (the Chaser) and SDX02 (the Target), each weighing 220 kg. The satellites were placed in low-Earth orbit, about 20 km apart, before gradually closing the gap for the final docking.
This docking experiment serves as a critical technological demonstration for future Indian missions, including:
