Sangareddy, Telangana: In a tragic incident on Monday, at least two individuals lost their lives and around 14 others sustained injuries following a suspected explosion at a pharmaceutical plant in the district, as confirmed by the police. Several workers are believed to be trapped at the Sigachi Pharma Company located in the Pashamylaram industrial estate, with ongoing rescue operations being conducted by official sources. The injured have been transported to various hospitals, though their current condition remains unclear as efforts to rescue others continue. Firefighting teams have been deployed to extinguish the blaze at the site. When questioned about the nature of the incident, a police official indicated it likely appeared to be an explosion.
