Covid-19 guidelines you need to know as Kartarpur Sahib corridor re-opens

As the pilgrimage to the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan, the final resting place of Sikhism founder Guru Nanak, begins with the re-opening of the Kartarpur Sahib corridor, a set of Covid-19 guidelines have been issued for the devotees.

A negative RT-PCR report not older than 72 hours and certificate of Covid-19 vaccination will be mandatory for pilgrims, News18 reported quoting the chairperson of the board that looks after the Gurudwara in Pakistan.

Pilgrims will undergo temperature checks and anyone with Covid-19 symptoms will be moved to isolation. Mask rules and social distancing have to be strictly followed throughout the pilgrimage.

No Covid-19 test will conducted on arrival at the Gurudwara, the board chairperson told News18.
