Speaking to PTI, Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Awkash Kumar stated that a forensic team and senior officials had reached the spot to collect scientific evidence.

"The matter is being investigated from all angles. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined," the SSP said. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further details will be revealed following the autopsy report.

Congress leader Kaukab Quadri also reacted to the heartbreaking news, stating:

"We heard in the morning that Ayaan had died by suicide. It is devastating. He was like family, a cheerful young man with no visible signs of stress. We don’t know what could have led him to take this extreme step. All Congress leaders are arriving, and everyone is in shock."
