CM Yogi Adityanath Addresses Public Grievances at 'Janata Darshan'

Lucknow, Nov 3 (PTI): At a session of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's 'Janata Darshan' programme on Monday, numerous individuals expressed their concerns about inadequate police action, particularly in theft cases, and issues related to land encroachments in Uttar Pradesh.

This programme is a part of Chief Minister Adityanath's regular public engagement efforts, where he listens to grievances from citizens across the state firsthand.

Over 60 individuals brought forward issues related to financial assistance, land disputes, police inefficacies, and family conflicts during their interactions with the chief minister.

Adityanath reassured the complainants that his administration is dedicated to ensuring the safety and dignity of every resident of the state and directed officials to resolve complaints within set timelines.

An official statement mentioned that Adityanath instructed officials to gather feedback from complainants following the resolution of their issues.

Throughout the session, several attendees expressed dissatisfaction with police actions in specific cases, highlighting the lack of recovery of stolen items even when the culprits were identified.

Concerns were also raised about encroachments on land, prompting the chief minister to instruct officials to conduct prompt investigations and ensure encroachments are removed swiftly.

In response to a complainant seeking financial help for medical treatment, Adityanath promised support. He stated, “Just send the treatment estimate from the hospital and focus on the patient’s care. Leave the rest to us. No treatment will stop due to a lack of funds. The government stands with every needy person from day one.”
