Chandrababu Naidu on TDP's Impact and Growth

Kadapa, May 27 (PTI) The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has been instrumental in influencing key decisions by various central governments and is considered a pioneer in welfare, reforms, and development, as stated by TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday.

Speaking at the TDP Mahanadu, an annual party gathering, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu highlighted the resilience shown by the TDP over its 43-year history.

Despite numerous challenges and predictions of its decline, Naidu emphasized that the TDP's influence and presence have remained formidable.

"TDP has consistently played a significant role in shaping decisions at the national level. Many initiatives considered in Andhra Pradesh have often become national agendas," the Chief Minister remarked.

Reflecting on the challenges during the previous regime under the YSR Congress Party, Naidu mentioned the hardships faced by many TDP members, including the loss of lives.

"In a political landscape filled with numerous parties, TDP stands out as a force that has truly impacted people's lives in meaningful ways," he added.

Naidu further lauded the organisational strength of the TDP, citing a recently concluded membership drive that successfully enlisted one crore members in just 45 days.

This year's three-day TDP Mahanadu commenced on Tuesday in Kadapa, running from May 27 to 29.
