Capital punishment for accused: father of solider who was beaten to death

Parents of the soldier who was beaten to death in Tamil Nadu demanded strict punishment for the accused including a DMK councillor.

Prabhu M had gotten into an argument with a DMK councillor in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu on February 8 this year over washing clothes at a public tank. Soon the situation turned violent and Prabhu and his brother were attacked by the MNK leader along with 9 of his aides with iron rods and machetes.

Later Prabhu was admitted to the hospital where he succumbed to internal injuries on Tuesday.

DMK Councillor Chinnaswamy's son accused of the murder has allegedly dragged Prabhu out of his house and beaten him to death.

Prabhu's family alleged that not a single DMK cadre has come to their house to help them and demanded CM intervention to help the family get justice.

The police have filed an FIR in the matter and all nine including the DMK councillor were arrested by the police.
