Amaravati, Sep 5 (PTI) The leaders of Andhra Pradesh expressed their heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad.

Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, and opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy shared their messages, highlighting the enduring significance of the Prophet's teachings.

The Governor, in his message, described the Prophet's life as a profound tale of virtue, brotherhood, and service to humanity. "The Prophet's mission is fulfilled when we serve fellow human beings with faith, care, and compassion. I pray his blessings usher peace and goodwill," Nazeer stated in a press release from the Raj Bhavan.

Chief Minister Naidu noted that the principles of honesty, sacrifice, and compassion demonstrated by Prophet Mohammad continue to guide individuals towards peace, harmony, and brotherhood worldwide. He conveyed his wishes in a post on X, saying, "My greetings to all Muslim brethren on Milad-un-Nabi. May the Prophet's teachings inspire us to follow truth, compassion, and universal brotherhood."

Naidu further emphasized that the Prophet's ideals serve as a reminder of the importance of respect, tolerance, and aiding those in need—values that remain timeless and relevant.

Opposition leader Reddy also extended his greetings, praying for the removal of obstacles and for peace and prosperity in people's lives. He posted on X, saying, "Wholeheartedly praying for peace, harmony, and compassion in society, I extend Milad-un-Nabi greetings to all Muslim brothers and sisters of the state."
