AIADMK's Future: Call for Unity to Contest Tamil Nadu Assembly Election

Erode (Tamil Nadu), September 5 (PTI): Senior AIADMK leader and legislator K A Sengottaiyan appealed to party general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami to reunite all former AIADMK members who have left the party. He emphasized the importance of contesting the Assembly election as a unified force.

The legislator from the Gobichettipalayam constituency in Erode district pointed out that it was the party's ousted interim general secretary, V K Sasikala, who had previously endorsed Palaniswami as the Chief Ministerial candidate.

"If Palaniswami does not take steps to unify the AIADMK within ten days, we will gather all like-minded individuals to strengthen the party," declared the former minister to reporters.
