Tragic Incident: Actor's Son Dies in Kandivali

Mumbai, July 3 (PTI) – A tragic incident unfolded in Kandivali, the northern part of Mumbai, as the 14-year-old son of a prominent actor allegedly ended his life by leaping off a high-rise building. This incident followed a disagreement with his mother regarding attending a tuition class, an official from the police department disclosed on Thursday.

The sorrowful event occurred around 6 PM on Wednesday at a residential complex where the actor—a familiar face in popular Gujarati and Hindi television serials—resides on the 51st floor. The police official stated that the Class 9 student had been urged by his mother to attend his tuition, which he hesitated to do, resulting in an argument.

Upon leaving the house at 6 PM, he went down a few floors before tragically jumping to his death. A resident of the building informed his mother of the incident. Authorities are in the process of determining the exact floor from which he jumped.

At this point, no foul play is suspected. An accidental death report has been lodged, and further investigation is ongoing, according to the official from Kandivali police station.

Sources indicate that the police might visit the deceased's school and tuition center to gather more insights as part of their investigation.
