The agency on Friday carried out simultaneous raids at the houses of around a dozen people, including two ministers, in connection with its investigation into the teacher recruitment scam in West Bengal.

      The Enforcement Directorate has seized around Rs 20 crore and more than 15 mobile phones from the residence of a close associate of senior West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee.

      The agency shared four photographs of piles of cash in the denomination of Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 besides a number of sealed packets inside a room.

      The agency on Friday carried out simultaneous raids at the houses of around a dozen people, including two ministers, in connection with its investigation into the teacher recruitment scam in West Bengal.

      Partha Chatterjee, who was the state's education minister when the alleged scam occurred, was questioned by ED officials at his residence.

      Besides him, ED officials also raided TMC minister Paresh Adhikari's house, and former officials of West Bengal School Service Commission and West Bengal Board of Primary Education
