Around 5,000 refugees from Myanmar entered Mizoram following airstrikes by the Myanmar army.

5,000 refugees from Myanmar enter Mizoram after airstrikes

Around 5,000 people from Myanmar have entered Mizoram following a fresh airstrike by the Myanmar army in the bordering areas.

An official in Mizoram's Champhai said that several injured Myanmar nationals entered the district by crossing the international border.

News agency ANI reported that the Young Mizo Association and other locals are helping the refugees in the Champhai district.
