Stanley Tucci Stars in Prime Video's Heist Film 'Masterplan'

Los Angeles, Oct 13 (PTI) - Stanley Tucci, the renowned Hollywood actor, is set to headline the cast of the forthcoming international heist film "Masterplan," alongside Simona Tabasco and Victor Belmondo.

The film, "Masterplan," will be directed by Thomas Vincent.

This English-language production represents Prime Video's first venture into a French-Italian Original film, according to an entertainment news outlet, Variety.

Co-producing "Masterplan" with Amazon MGM Studios is Gaumont, the esteemed French studio responsible for the acclaimed thriller series "Lupin."

Tucci, who has recently completed filming for the highly anticipated sequel to "The Devil Wears Prada," will portray a legendary thief with a daring plan to steal Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, 'The Mona Lisa,' from the Louvre Museum in Paris.

He enlists the help of Chiara, played by "The White Lotus" star Simona Tabasco, and Jay, portrayed by Victor Belmondo.

The synopsis of "Masterplan" reveals that, "Thrown into a chaotic reunion they never asked for, this new family must learn to work together — and try not to kill each other — if they want any chance at pulling off the heist of the century."

Vincent, known for his work on "Bodyguard" and "Reacher," co-wrote "Masterplan" alongside David Wolstencroft.

The story is crafted by Giacomo Durzi, Alessandro Fabbri, Alberto Vignati, David Wolstencroft, and Vincent.

The film will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries.
