Samantha Ruth Prabhu praises friend Vijay Deverakonda: ‘Some friends gently standby…’

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently in Turkey shooting for her upcoming film ‘Kushi’ with Vijay Deverakonda. She took to her official Instagram account and shared a picture in which she was seen posing with Vijay as they stepped out for a lunch date.

Sharing the picture, she penned a heartwarming note for her ‘friend’ Vijay. Samantha wrote, ‘Sees you at your best, sees you at your worst. Sees you come last, sees you come first. Sees your lows, sees your highs. Some friends gently standby What a year it has been!!’

As soon as she shared the picture, several fans showered love on their favourite actors.

‘MY WHOLEE HEART!!!’, a fan wrote. Another user commented, ‘This pair so pretty!’

‘Kushi’ is a romantic drama directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film was delayed after Samantha Ruth Prabhu had to take a break from work for the treatment of her auto-immune condition Myositis.

In 2022, a few portions of the film were shot in Kashmir.
‘Kushi’ also marks the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The duo previously worked together in the film ‘Mahanati’.

‘Kushi’ is scheduled to release in theatres on September 1, 2023, in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
