Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' Premieres to Fan Frenzy in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Aug 14 (PTI): Superstar Rajinikanth's much-awaited film 'Coolie' premiered in theaters across Tamil Nadu on Friday, as enthusiastic fans celebrated the latest cinematic venture from their beloved 'Thalaivar'.

Notably, the film's release aligns with Rajinikanth's remarkable 50-year milestone in the film industry.

Cinemas were buzzing with excitement as crowds, primarily composed of the star's fervent fans, arrived early to catch the first day, first show of this much-anticipated film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Fans marked the grand release with traditional celebrations, dancing to drumbeats and lighting fireworks for this star-studded film, which features prominent Indian actors Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, and Upendra.

The movie, a gripping revenge saga, also stars Sathyaraj and Shruti Haasan.

The music, composed by Anirudh R, boasts chart-busting tracks, including the popular song 'Monica'.
