Neeraj Ghaywan's 'Homebound' to Premiere at TIFF 2025 Gala

New Delhi, Jul 17 (PTI) – Acclaimed filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan's film "Homebound" is scheduled to be showcased at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival. The movie, starring prominent actors Ishaan Khatter, Jahnvi Kapoor, and Vishal Jethwa, is included in the exclusive Gala Presentations line-up for the festival's 50th edition, happening from September 4 to 14.

"Homebound," produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, enjoyed its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May, where it was featured under the Un Certain Regard section. The renowned producer, Karan Johar, announced the film's journey to Toronto via his official Instagram, expressing his excitement: "#Homebound has been officially selected for the Toronto International Film Festival 2025 (@tiff_net) in the Gala Presentations category. Scorsese joined the project as an executive producer in April and expressed admiration for Ghaywan's previous work, including the 2015 film “Masaan,” which also screened at Cannes under Un Certain Regard.
