"Chhaava," starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, continues its triumphant run at the box office as it enters its third week. Since its release on February 14, 2025, the historical action film, directed by Laxman Utekar and based on the Marathi novel "Chava," has captivated audiences nationwide. Notching up an impressive Rs 375 crore in its first fortnight, the film is on track to surpass the Rs 400 crore milestone soon. The period drama maintains its strong performance, with day 15 figures expected to add another Rs 11 to Rs 12 crore, pushing its gross to approximately Rs 386 to Rs 387 crore. Despite facing new releases like "Sanam Teri Kasam" and Dinesh Vijan's productions of "Crazxy," "Chhaava" remains unchallenged, as the latter two are projected to earn just Rs 1 to Rs 2 crore on opening. "Chhaava" has yet to encounter formidable competition, establishing itself as the first blockbuster of 2025 and marking a career peak for Vicky Kaushal in terms of box office returns. As cinegoers' top choice, the film’s robust performance signals its continued dominance in theaters amid an appraisal-filled third week.
