New Delhi, Sep 12 (PTI) - Celebrated actor Anushka Shetty, renowned for her performances in films like "Arundhati", "Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty", and the "Baahubali" series, has announced her decision to take a hiatus from social media. The actor expressed her desire to "reconnect to the world and work beyond the scrolling".

Known for her captivating roles, Shetty recently starred in Krish Jagarlamudi's "Ghaati". She shared a heartfelt handwritten note on Instagram this Friday, indicating her intent to take this digital break.

The note conveyed her sentiments about replacing digital interactions with more meaningful connections, reading, "Trading blue light to candle light... Will be stepping away from social media for a bit, just to reconnect to the world and work beyond the scrolling, to where we all actually started. See you all soon with more stories and more love....always forever...Smile always. Love Anushka Shetty."

In the caption of her post, the 43-year-old actor reiterated her message with, "Love.... always forever."

Her latest film, "Ghaati", which premiered on September 5, sees her in the role of Sheelavathi. The film is backed by UV Creations and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi. Vikram Prabhu also plays a significant role in this feature.
