Rishab Shetty&rsquo;s remark at the IFFI 2023 press conference wasn&rsquo;t received well by many fans who thought it was a dig at Rashmika Mandanna. And when an X user pointed out the same in a tweet, the fan faced severe backlash for misconstruing Rishab&rsquo;s statement.&nbsp; At the conference, Rishab said that he didn&rsquo;t want to be the person who leaves the Kannada film industry after giving one hit.&nbsp; The fan had to later correct himself and he also shared his apologies. Rishab reshared the tweet and wrote, &ldquo;No problem, ☺️ finally someone understood what I really meant to say.&rdquo;&nbsp; For the unversed, there have been rumours that a feud is going on between Rashmika and Rishab. After her engagement with Rakshit Shetty was called off, she transcended Kannada borders in her acting career. Rishab is currently working on Kantara 2, the prequel to the first part while Rashmika&rsquo;s &lsquo;Animal&rsquo; with Ranbir Kapoor released on December 1. Ranveer Singh received an honor from Sharon Stone at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah. While presenting the award to Ranveer, the Hollywood stars lauded him as an all-rounder creative genius, expressing genuine pleasure in welcoming him to receive another prestigious accolade.
Grateful for the honour, Ranveer attributed his success to his devoted fans, acknowledging their unwavering support as his driving force, urging him to push boundaries and strive for excellence.&nbsp;

At a recent event, Sam Manekshaw's daughter, Maya, shared her sentiments about Vicky's film, mentioning that it moved her to tears.
Maya told The Indian Express, &lsquo;They have made the film to make the country proud of whatever it was. But, the time that I tear up, every time, I&rsquo;ve seen the film twice now and I teared up both times, is the last two seconds of the film when you turn to the audience and you&rsquo;re smiling. That just kills me every time.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Sam Bahadur&rsquo; is directed by Meghna Gulzar of &lsquo;Raazi&rsquo; fame. The movie also features performances from Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh in significant roles.
&lsquo;Sam Bahadur&rsquo; delves into the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, highlighting his immense sacrifices for the nation. The film offers a poignant homage to his unyielding courage and remarkable wit.
For those unfamiliar, Sam Manekshaw served in the army for over four decades and actively participated in five wars. He made history as the first Indian Army officer to attain the rank of Field Marshal. His strategic triumph in the 1971 Indo-Pak war played a pivotal role in the birth of Bangladesh.
&lsquo;Sam Bahadur&rsquo;, produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies, will be shown on over 3,000 screens today.

&lsquo;Animal&rsquo; clashes at the box office with Vicky Kaushal&rsquo;s &lsquo;Sam Bahadur&rsquo;. Both the films are expected to do good business but &lsquo;Animal&rsquo; is expected to get a grand opening due to its mass appeal.
If &lsquo;Animal&rsquo; performs well at the ticket counters, it will be Ranbir Kapoor&rsquo;s second hit in a row after &lsquo;Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar&rsquo;.

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha stranded in Israel but safe

Bharuccha is in Israel to attend a film festival as per her team.&nbsp;

Amid an ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian militant group Hamas, bollywood actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has been stranded in Israel, a member of her team said on Saturday.
In a statement, one of the members of her team said, 'Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival'.
'The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 pm earlier today, when she was safe in a basement. For safety measures, further details cannot be disclosed. However, since then, we were not able to connect. We are trying to get Nushrratt back safely to India and hope she returns back in the best of health and unharmed', he added.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film's reception has been mixed, with criticisms of misogyny echoing sentiments similar to Vanga's earlier work, "Kabir Singh."
Nonetheless, "Animal" seems to have resonated with its audience, mirroring the success of Vanga's previous film.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Trade analyst Ramesh Bala reported a global gross collection ranging between Rs 110-115 crore on the film's opening day.
Additionally, the movie amassed $2.5 million in North America on its debut. The screening statistics reflect varying degrees of success across regions.
In Delhi NCR, with 1318 shows, the film secured an impressive 79% occupancy, while Mumbai's 1040 shows garnered over 55% occupancy.
Hyderabad witnessed an 82% occupancy rate from 316 shows, but Chennai's Tamil version of the film saw only 30% occupancy across 88 shows.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Compared to other releases this year, "Animal" stands as the second-highest opener, surpassing "Pathaan" and following Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan," which earned Rs 75 crore on its opening day.
However, "Animal" has emerged as the runner-up, collecting Rs 61 crore, overtaking "Pathaan," which previously held the second spot with Rs 57 crore. "Tiger 3" follows in third place with an opening day collection of Rs 44.50 crore.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; "Animal" released alongside Vicky Kaushal's "Sam Bahadur," which managed to garner Rs 5.5 crore nett in India.
Despite the dominance of "Animal," the polarizing reception of Ranbir Kapoor's film might work in favor of Vicky Kaushal's offering.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Comparing "Animal" to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's earlier blockbuster "Kabir Singh," which commenced with Rs 20.21 crore, the film eventually amassed over Rs 278 crore during its lifetime in India.
For Ranbir Kapoor, "Sanju" remains his highest-grossing film, earning Rs 342.53 crore and previously holding the record for his biggest opening at Rs 34.75 crore.
However, "Animal" has now claimed that spot, marking a significant milestone in Kapoor's career at the box office.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;
