Buried near highway: missing Haryanvi singer's body found after 12 days of search, say reports

A Haryanvi singer, who had been missing for almost 2 weeks, was found dead near a highway on May 23. The woman's body was found buried near a highway in Rohtak district, as per an NDTV report.

The singer lived in Delhi, and had last been seen by her family on May 11. The victim's family accused two men who worked with her of kidnap and murder.

The singer had gone to Bhiwani with one of the men for shooting of a music video, according to the family. CCTV footage showed the two having dinner at a hotel in Rohtak, as per reports.

The woman's family accused police of going slow in the case. Police said that they made the discovery after receiving information about a body buried near Bhairon Bhaini village. One of the accused has been arrested.
