MakeMyTrip expands services to over 150 countries

Indian online travel company MakeMyTrip has expanded its services to over 150 countries including destinations like the UK, Japan, Germany, Italy among others. The firm has been operating in India, the USA, and the UAE so far.

"The travel platform has adhered to multiple international compliances, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), to accomplish this feat," said the travel company in a press release.

MakeMyTrip expands

MakeMyTrip offers transactions in Indian Rupee, United Arab Emirates Dirham and US Dollar. In a statement the company remarked that after expanding its footprint worldwide, the platform's interface remains consistent.

MakeMyTrip is planning to offer accommodations in more than 2,000 cities and has said that this global accessibility will help the firm in reaching the vast Indian diaspora while fostering increased inbound travel to India.
