The cash-strapped airline hopes to restart operations soon. Aviation regulator has given Go First 30 days to submit a revivial plan.

Crisis hit Go First has once again extended the suspension of its flights. This time till June 4th. In a statement, the airline cited "operational reasons" for further cancellation of flights.

In its statement, the airline once again assured that refunds will be issued to those who had booked tickets.

The airline grounded flights on the 3rd of May as it filed for voluntary insolvency resolution proceedings, citing its inability to carry out operations due to non-delivery of engines by the U.S engine maker Pratt & Whitney.

Meanwhile, the cash-strapped airline is in talks with the aviation regulator DGCA to restart operations, as per a report by PTI. DGCA has given the airline 30 days to submit its revival plan following which the regulator will take a call on its restarting of operations.

The airline, hoping to restart operations soon, is also trying to hold back pilots by offering ₹1 lakh a month in addition to their salary.
