For the forthcoming second season, UP Warriorz purchased five players, including one foreign star at the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction.
For the uncapped Indian player Vrinda Dinesh, whose base price was INR 10 lakh, the Warriorz paid a hefty price. They engaged in a heated bidding battle with the Gujarat Giants and ultimately paid INR 1.3 crore to acquire the Karnataka-based player.&nbsp;

The DC franchise broke the bank for Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland and picked the star player for INR 2 crore. Delhi Capitals engaged in an intense bidding war with Mumbai Indians (MI) but managed to get the player after MI withdrew from the contest.
With only 25 lakhs left in the purse, the franchise then went for two uncapped players Aparna Mondal and Ashwani Kumari to complete their squad.
Interestingly, Aparna Mondal was with the Delhi Capitals in WPL 2023 but wasn't retained. However, they bought her back at the auction.
