The national capital's air quality was recorded in the &ldquo;poor&rdquo; category on Thursday morning and it is likely to deteriorate further due to unfavourable meteorological conditions and spike in farm fires. Delhi's air quality had turned poor on Wednesday, the first time since June 29, with the Central Pollution Control Board recording a 24-hour average AQI of 215. PM10 levels in Delhi-NCR stood at 234 microgram per cubic metre (&micro;g/m3) on Wednesday evening, according to CPCB data, while PM2.5 levels were 93 &micro;g/m3. According to Punjab government data, 1,692 farm fires have been recorded in the state this season, Haryana reported 526 farm fires.

A two-page document listing names and addresses of at least 15 protected witnesses has inadvertently been included in the police&rsquo;s charge sheet filed in a city court last month. Delhi Police on Wednesday accepted its goof-up and said that they are &ldquo;taking steps for the security and safety of the witnesses&rdquo;, the report added.
