Former cricketers Waqar Younis, Aqib Javed and Shahid Afridi are reportedly under consideration for important posts in the Pakistan Board and team set-up after the World Cup.

After a dismal performance at the World Cup 2023, Pakistan are reportedly looking to revamp the Pakistan Cricket Board management.&nbsp;
As per reports, former cricketers Waqar Younis, Aqib Javed and Shahid Afridi are under consideration for important posts in the Pakistan Board and team set-up.
The Zaka Ashraf-led 12-member committee, running the PCB, has got a three-month extension which will end in February next year.
A PCB insider said important positions including chief selector, Director of cricket and coaching staff of the national side will be up for grabs.

'I won&rsquo;t be surprised if he is the next Indian captain,' said Waqar in the middle of the conversation.
Wasim Akram further lavished praise on the all-rounder and called Hardik a force. 'He gives advice to the captain and has a calming influence, he is learning,' added the 56-year-old.
