Tamil actor Vivek passed away in a Chennai hospital early on Saturday following a cardiac arrest. The 59-year-old actor&nbsp;was admitted to the intensive care unit&nbsp;of a hospital after he suffered a heart attack due to 100% blockage in the left anterior descending artery vessel. Tamil Nadu Health Department also called a press meet on Friday to dispel the rumors that Vivek's&nbsp;illness was linked to him receiving the&nbsp;Covid-19&nbsp;vaccine on Thursday.&nbsp;
Vivek&nbsp;who starred in over 220 films&nbsp;in his career,&nbsp;was introduced to cinema by veteran director K Balachander. In 2009, he&nbsp;was conferred with Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour in the country, for his contribution to Indian cinema.
