A woman has alleged that she was denied entry into a Delhi restaurant as she was wearing a traditional Indian wear.
The incident happened at a restaurant named Aquila Delhi, where according to the woman Anita Choudhary, she was barred from entering&nbsp;because she was wearing a saree. A short clip of the incident is doing the round on&nbsp;social media, where staff can be heard&nbsp;saying, &lsquo;Ma&rsquo;am, we only allow smart casual, saree doesn&rsquo;t come under smart casual&rdquo;.
The incident is being slammed on Twitter and is being called bizarre, discriminatory and elitist.&nbsp;

The Delhi restaurant has issued a statement and responded to the controversy. Aquila took to their Instagram account to say that it is believes in honouring the Indian community and has always welcomed their guests in all dress codes from modern to traditional
