Actor Varun Dhawan took to Instagram to thank his fans and friends for their warm birthday wishes. He shared a few pictures in which he is seen with his wife-designer Natasha Dalal and friends. He captioned his post, &lsquo;Birthday with the best crew. Thank you for all the wishes. 36 begins.&rsquo;
The first picture shows Natasha leaning onto him at the dinner table in a matching white outfit as the actor gets ready to cut his birthday cake. Another picture shows him standing on a swing by the beach, whereas Natasha is seen sitting on it. Other pictures show the actor and his friends posing for the camera.
Varun Dhawan&rsquo;s post is receiving a lot of love. Several celebrities commented on the post to wish him on his birthday. Malaika Arora wrote, &lsquo;Happy birthday Varun (love emoticons)&rsquo;. Singer Armaan Malik wrote, &lsquo;Happy birthday bro,&rsquo; while Sophie Choudry commented with red heart emoticons.
Many other celebrities also took to social media to wish Varun Dhawan.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan was last in &lsquo;Bhediya&rsquo; alongside Kriti Sanon. He now has a sequel to &lsquo;Bhediya&rsquo; in the works and Nitesh Tiwari's &lsquo;Bawaal&rsquo; in the pipeline. Varun will also star in the Indian version of &lsquo;Citadel&rsquo; with Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Many international and Bollywood stars attended the two-day Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) launch event in Mumbai last week. Videos of Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan performing on stage at the NMACC gala on Saturday night went viral online.
One of the videos from the event showed Varun carrying American supermodel Gigi Hadid in his arms and twirling her. He also kissed her on the cheeks as she stepped off the stage at the end of the performance.
Varun faced a lot of criticism after this clip surfaced on the internet. A section of netizens slammed the actor for kissing Gigi without her consent.
Now, choreographer Shiamak Davar, who directed all the performances, has reacted to the controversy in recent interview with Hindustan Times. Sharing what actually happened, Shiamak said, &lsquo;It is not true. It is Gigi who told Varun [to do so].'&nbsp;
