Kim Taehyung aka V of BTS has left his ARMY completely speechless. The singer was spotted at the 2024 Veteran Cultural Festival in Chuncheon as he was deployed on patrolling duty at the event. A video of V from backstage has gone viral and fans cannot stop gushing over him.&nbsp;
<h2>V of BTS spotted in SDT uniform</h2>
The BTS star has been away for a while since he enlisted in the military. While fans are counting days and missing their favourite idols, the video of V has left them wanting more. The idol of idols donned the SDT uniform which went perfect with his current buffed physique. Several ARMYs could not help but notice V&rsquo;s hard work in building his current physique which was also mentioned by the singer himself.&nbsp;
In the viral video, V is seen interacting with Lee Ji Young of Big Mama. The BTS singer can be seen approaching the singer and introducing himself. He can be heard saying, &ldquo;I am V of BTS,&rdquo; before adding &ldquo;We&rsquo;re on a military policy patrol right now.&rdquo; Ji Young responded cheerfully and praised the &lsquo;Rainy Day&rsquo; singer. She said, &ldquo;You&rsquo;re so cool, you look even cooler in your uniform.&rdquo; V shook hands and saluted her before returning to his duties.&nbsp;
<h2>ARMY reacts to V&rsquo;s video</h2>
The viral video which surfaced on June 9 on social media led to a fan frenzy. BTS ARMY gushed over V&rsquo;s latest look and also expressed a sense of pride. Many fans applauded the K-pop idol for being humble and for the way he spoke to his senior K-pop idol while a lot of them expressed how handsome he looked in the video.
<h2>V&rsquo;s current activities</h2>
V is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service as a soldier after getting enlisted in December 2023. The SDT is a specialist military police unit that is in charge of special operations, VIP protection, mobile strikes in metropolitan areas, anti-terrorism operations, and the initial response to violent crimes.&nbsp;
On the work front, Kim Taehyung released solo album &lsquo;Layover&rsquo; in September 2023 before enlisting in military. He also featured in IU&rsquo;s music video &lsquo;Love Wins All&rsquo; and released his new single &lsquo;FRI(END)S&rsquo; along with a music video in March, 2024.&nbsp;

After months of silence on social media platforms, the singer, currently serving his mandatory military service, delighted his fans with a dynamite dance video that has now sent the internet into a tizzy. For the dance break, the 'Rainy Days' singer was also joined by Bada Lee, Gof of his 95z dancers, and Ingyoo Kim. Sharing the video, &nbsp;V captioned, "I felt like dancing".&nbsp;
After V's dance video broke the internet, Bada Lee took to his Instagram account to share a closer look into the BTS member's swift moves. The now-viral video had the duo matching their steps on the song &lsquo;Fuk Sumn&rsquo; by Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, and &yen;$.&nbsp;
V enlisted for his mandatory service last year in December, along with RM, the leader of BTS. &nbsp;According to K-media reports, the K-pop idol has joined the Special Forces team of the military police. &nbsp;In February, V shared an update regarding his health with his fans on Weverse. He revealed that he had gained 10 kg and now weighs 72.5 Kg. Before his enlistment, the singer only weighed 62 kg.&nbsp;
Currently, all the members of the global music band are serving their military term, including V, RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jungkook and Jimin.&nbsp;
BTS, as a group, is currently on a breif hiatus and will resume its activities in 2025.&nbsp;

Russia has approached India for conducting phase-3 clinical trial and manufacturing of its Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V by Indian firms

Russia has approached India for conducting phase-3 clinical trial and manufacturing of its Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V by Indian firms. The Indian govt has said that it is working to facilitate Moscow's request. Niti Aayog member Dr V K Paul, who also chairs the national expert group on Covid-19 vaccine administration, has said that Indian scientists have looked at the data on Sputnik V, which is in the public domain now, and there would be a need for the phase-3 trial. Dr Kaul said that that there has been considerable movement on Russia's request and several Indian companies are currently studying the proposal.

New Delhi, PTI: India is considering Russia's request for conducting phase-3 clinical trial and manufacturing of its Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V by Indian firms, officials said Tuesday. There has been "significant movement" on both these fronts and specific outcomes are expected soon.
Dr V K Paul, Member (Health) Niti Aayog, who also chairs the national expert group on Covid-19 vaccine administration, said the government attaches "great importance to this offer of partnership from a very special friend to this nation".
He said that Indian scientists have looked at the data on Sputnik V, which is in the public domain now, and there would be a need for the phase -3 trial.
&ldquo;We are paving way for such a phase-3 trial or bridging studies, as per requirements of the regulatory system, to be facilitated by the government of India," he told a press conference here.
The Russian government has approached the government of India through appropriate channels to consider the manufacturing of Sputnik V through Indian companies and also conducting its phase-3 clinical trials here, Paul said.
"On both the tracks there has been significant movement,&rdquo; he said.
Several Indian companies are currently studying the proposal, he said.
"The outreach has been extended to several companies in India and a few of them have come forward while others are in discussions with the Russian counterparts and the government is facilitating that process of how that connect can be made. And there may be specific outcomes very soon in that regard," Paul said.
It is a "win-win situation" for India and the world, he said, underlining the county's ability to manufacture high quality vaccine in large and significant quantities.
It is good for Russia, good for India, and also excess capacities or specific part of the capacities can be offered to the rest of the world, he said.
Sputnik V has been developed by Russia's Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, along with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). The vaccine has not been tested in phase-3 or larger clinical trials.

The first peer-reviewed results of Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials of Russia&rsquo;s coronavirus vaccine, named Sputnik-V was published in the medical journal The Lancet on Friday. In a press release Lancet has said that the results from the two 42-day trials have a &lsquo;good safety profile with no serious adverse events&rsquo;, noting the vaccine induced antibody responses in all participants. Russia was criticised when it announced the world's first approved coronavirus vaccine for public use, even before Phase 3 trials could be completed.
