The accused, Shekhar Bharti, was behind the wheel of one of three vehicles involved in the incident, police said.
According to the police, the vehicle was owned by Ankit Das, a close aide of Ashish Mishra, Union minister Ajay Mishra&rsquo;s son. Bharti is also the nephew of former Rajya Sabha MP and UPA minister Akhilesh Das, police said.
Ashish Mishra is already in custody on charges of running over his car over the farmers.

The victim's wife told the media she was not convinced with the police's explanation.
"Just 10 minutes before his death, he was speaking to me and then he cut the call saying the cops are here. I want answers to how he died," Meenakshi Gupta, the wife of the dead property dealer, said.

The incident took place on July 7 but caught the attention after the video of the violent assault went viral on social media. In the video, the youth can be seen tied to a tree partly naked while the group keeps questioning him about his caste.&nbsp;
Taking strong note of the brutal assault of a Dalit man, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes has issued a notice to the Yogi Adityanath government and sought an action-taken report.&nbsp;

Uttar Pradesh police filed a case against news website, The Wire in Barabanki over a documentary on the demolition of a mosque. The authorities said it was "unauthorised structure" and that was the ground for demolition.
The Wire has been accused of "promoting enmity" and holding an "intent to cause riot".
Barabanki District Magistrate Adarsh Singh said in a video statement on Twitter &nbsp;said "the news portal shared a video on June 23 that makes baseless, false statements and illogical arguments.&rsquo;
Apart from the naming the news portal, the FIR also names two journalists working with the website.
This comes days after a case was filed against the online news platform over tweets linked to the alleged assault of a Muslim man in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad.
In a statement, The Wire's founding editor Siddharth Varadarajan said the portal will "not be intimidated" and that this case is "baseless".
