'We condemn such remarks. Harmony is our culture. We have to respect other religions. The INDIA bloc has no connection with such comments. Whoever he may be, if anyone says something like this, we should condemn such statements,' TMC's Kunal Ghosh.&nbsp;
Both TMC and DMK are members opposition's INDIA bloc.&nbsp;
MK Stalin's son Udhayanidhi had compared 'sanatan dharma' to dengue and malaria while calling for its eradication.&nbsp;
The BJP has not only targeted DMK but also the Congress and INDIA over Udhayanidhi's comment.&nbsp;

Defiant in the face of massive backlash over his comment on 'sanatan dharma', Udhayanidhi Stalin has said that he will repeatedly keep saying the same words. He said that he included all the religions and not just Hindus in his statement. The DMK leader also said that he was just condemning the caste differences.&nbsp;
Udhayanidhi, the son of Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin, had on Saturday called for the eradication of 'sanatan dharma' while comparing it to diseases like dengue and malaria.&nbsp;
The BJP launched a scathing attack on DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin and the INDIA coalition over his comments against 'sanatan sharma', alleging it is clear that complete eradication of Hindu dharma is the primary agenda of the opposition alliance.
Describing the DMK leader's remarks as "hate speech", the BJP also urged the Supreme Court to take action against him in accordance with the law.

As the row over Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Sanatana Dharma should be eradicated' remark spirals, Congress has finally broken its silence.
Speaking at a press conference in Delhi, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal on Sept 4 said the party believes in 'Sarva Dharma Samabhava' and it respects everyone's belief.
"Our view is clear; 'Sarva Dharma Samabhava' is the Congress' ideology. Every political party has the freedom to tell their views...We are respecting everybody's beliefs..." said KC Venugopal.
Meanwhile, the BJP continues to lash out at Stalin, alleging the INDIA bloc parties are insulting the culture of India.&nbsp;

The 45-year-old was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi in a simple ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan.

Marking the rise of another member of the DMK's ruling clan, Udhayanidhi Stalin was sworn in as a Tamil Nadu minister on 14 December 2022.
Udhayanidhi, who is an MLA and DMK's youth wing secretary, is the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. The 45-year-old was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi in a simple ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan.
Clad in his trademark white shirt, with a logo of DMK's youth wing embossed on it, Udhayanidhi took the oath in Tamil, in a style that was characteristic of his father, party chief M K Stalin.
