Opposition parties on Sunday moved a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh after he&nbsp;overruled their pleas for postponing Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar&rsquo;s reply to the debate on the two farm bills till Monday as the scheduled sitting time of the House was over. Congress Rajya Sabha&nbsp;MP&nbsp;Ahmad Patel said 12 parties have given a no-confidence motion notice against Deputy Chairman. Patel said&nbsp;Harivansh&nbsp;should safeguard the democratic traditions but instead his attitude harmed the democratic traditions and processes. Last week PM Modi&nbsp;had called&nbsp;Harivansh&nbsp;an able neutral umpire after he was re-elected to the post at the beginning&nbsp;of the Monsoon session.

Block 3 farm bills in Rajya Sabha: KCR to Opposition

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday said his party&nbsp;the Telangana Rashtra Samithi will oppose the farm bills brought in Parliament by the Narendra Modi government.&nbsp;KCR said these farm bills will do "a lot of injustice" to the farmers as he instructed TRS MPs to oppose the Bills "tooth and nail" in Parliament. The TRS president said&nbsp;the Bills will adversely impact farmers and would benefit corporates&nbsp;and&nbsp;that there is a need to oppose the farm Bills when they are introduced in the Rajya Sabha.&nbsp;On Thursday, the&nbsp;Lok Sabha passed the two farm Bills&nbsp;as the Opposition did not seek voting on any clause of these Bills.&nbsp;&nbsp;
