Puja organisers to seek review of HC's 'pandals no-entry zones' order

A day after Calcutta High Court said the pandals would be no-entry zones for visitors because if the coronavirus outbreak, 400 top Durga Puja organisers in Kolkata on Tuesday will ask for a review of the order. The organisers will approach the court as part of the Durgotsav Forum, an umbrella body of Durga Puja organisers, with just two days to go for Bengal's biggest festival. Expressing shock at the order, the Forum said the order is a huge set back for the committees that spent four months working at making things safe for visitors. According to the forum chief, Sawat Bose, the rule specifying barricade 10 metres before the pandal will create more chaos.

Afghan vice president survives bomb attack, Haqqani role suspected 

Two days after Afghanistan First Vice President Amrullah Saleh raised the issue of Durand Line and talked about Peshawar as summer capital of Islamic Republic, the former intelligence chief was target of an Improvised Explosive Device attack in Kabul that left three of his bodyguards injured and killed 10 civilians.&nbsp;
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing and the Taliban quickly denied they were behind the attack.
First Vice President Amrullah Saleh suffered minor burns in the blast.
According to diplomats based in Kabul and New Delhi, the needle of suspicion for the attack on Saleh is towards the Haqqani network as the Zadran tribe.

Apple, Google remove PUBG Mobile from their app stores

Apple and Google have removed PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite from their respective app stores within two days of their ban in the country.&nbsp;
 Both the apps can no longer be found on Play Store or App Store but they continue to remain operational for those who already have it downloaded.&nbsp;
 The popular battle royale game had over 175 million users in India alone, with over 50 million of them battling it out daily.&nbsp;
 To recall, PUBG Mobile is among 118 additional Chinese apps banned by the Indian government for &ldquo;engaging in activities which is [sic] prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order".

3 senior Indian wrestlers test positive for Covid-19

Olympic-bound wrestler among the 3 to test positive at the training camp in Sonepat.

With the nation engulfed in Covid-19, sports is also bearing the brunt of it. The Sports Authority of India&nbsp;announced on Thursday that&nbsp;3 senior male wrestlers have tested positive for the deadly virus.&nbsp;As the&nbsp;Wrestling Federation of India began its training camp for male wrestlers from September 1 in Sonepat, all players and support staff had to go undergo mandatory testing upon arrival.&nbsp;One among the 3 infected is world championship silver-medallist Deepak Punia who had also qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. Apart from him, two other male wrestlers Navin&nbsp;and Krishan&nbsp;have also tested positive.&nbsp;WFI Assistant Secretary however told PTI&nbsp;that&nbsp;the 3 wrestlers will be tested again after two days and if they return negative tests, they will be brought back. He also assured that there was no threat to the national camp and it will continue.
