Amid heightening leadership crisis in Chhattisgarh, CM Bhupesh Baghel arrived in Delhi on Friday after being summoned by the Congress high command.
Talking to reporters, Baghel said he will meet Congress MP Rahul Gandhi but refused to admit that the visit had anything to do with the power tussle between him and state Health Minister TS Singh Deo
Chattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo too arrived in New Delhi. He has however said he was &lsquo;not given time&rsquo; when asked whether he will be meeting anyone.
Deo is reportedly upset with the Congress central leadership for not fulfilling its promise of rotating the chief minister&rsquo;s post after two-and-a-half years of the party coming to power in the state.
Rahul Gandhi held meetings with Baghel and minister Deo earlier this week in a bid to resolve the tussle between the two senior leaders.
Meanwhile, Baghel is yet to respond Deo's remark mentioning it is only natural for a person playing in a team to think of captaincy.

Chhattishgarh&rsquo;s Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has rejected claims made by the state health minister TS Singh Deo about &nbsp;a rotation policy for the chief minister&rsquo;s post.
Deo has staked claim to the post by saying that when Congress won the state in 2018 a rotation policy had been agreed upon.
Baghel&rsquo;s comment came after he held a nearly three-hour meeting with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi during which he invited the latter to visit Chhattishgarh. Rahul Gandhi is expected to visit the state as early as next week.

After the meeting with Gandhi, Baghel met Congress MLAs from the state who had gathered at the party headquarters in Delhi
Earlier in the day, Chhattisgarh Congress MLAs held a meeting with General Secretary KC Venugopal&nbsp;on Friday amid reports of rift in the party's Chhattisgarh unit for change of leadership.
Chattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo too has arrived in New Delhi. He has however said he was &lsquo;not given time&rsquo; when asked whether he will be meeting anyone.

"Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are our leaders and we would abide with whatever they say,"Singh Deo told reporters before the meeting.
Baghel has also said that whatever decision the leadership takes will be followed.
While the two have met Rahul Gandhi earlier on the issue, Baghel has also met Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
