Ten bogies of a goods train derailed near Sarai Rohilla Railway station here in the national capital on Saturday, officials said. Possible casualty of a person on the track cannot be ruled out, they said.
The incident happened when the train was passing under the Zakhira flyover on Saturday morning.
An official of Railway Police said 10 bogies have derailed in the incident and added that a rescue operation was underway.
Teams of railway police and fire brigade have arrived at the spot for the rescue operation.
"Iron sheet rolls were loaded in the goods train. Possible casualty of a person on the track not ruled out," the official said.

19 people were injured after a train caught fire near Etawah.

As many as 19 passengers were injured after a fire broke out in a coach of the Delhi-Saharsa Vaishali Superfast Express near Etawah in Uttar Pradesh.
This is the second such incident in 10 hours near Etawah.
The fire occurred in the S-6 coach around around 2 am on Thursday.
It took about an hour for officials to control the blaze after which the affected coach was detached and the train resumed its journey.
The injured were sent for treatment. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

The death toll in the Andhra Pradesh train accident has risen to 11, according to railway officials

11 people have been killed and over 50 injured after two trains collided in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district on Sunday evening.&nbsp;
'So far, 11 people have died and 50 others are injured. We are presently focusing on the track restoration work. The rescue operation is over now...We have arranged buses and trains for the stranded passengers,' Biswajit Sahu, CPRO, East Coast Railway, said.&nbsp;
He said the accident took place between Alamanda and Kantakapalli in the Vizianagaram-Kottavalasa railway section of the Waltair division of the East Coast Railway zone at about 7 pm.
He said train number 08532 (Visakhapatnam-Palasa passenger) and 08504 (Visakhapatnam-Rayagada passenger special) were involved in the accident, adding that the Rayagada passenger had overshot the signal.
Two coaches of the Visakhapatnam-Palasa passenger train from the rear and the locomotive of the Visakhapatnam-Rayagada passenger train got derailed, the official added.

East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Sunday said a human error could have resulted in the collision of two trains in Andhra Pradesh&rsquo;s Vizianagaram district.
At least nine people were killed and 32 others injured in the collision of the Visakhapatnam-Palasa Passenger train with the Visakhapatnam-Rayagada Passenger Special this evening, according to officials.
&ldquo;Likely reason: Human error. Overshooting of the signal by Visakhapatnam- Rayagada passenger train,&rdquo; ECoR CPRO Biswajit Sahoo told reporters here.
While explaining the term overshooting, the CPRO said it occurs when a train, instead of stopping at a red signal, moves on.
Two coaches of the Visakhapatnam-Palasa Passenger train from the rear and the loco of Visakhapatnam-Rayagada Passenger were derailed as a result of the accident, the railway official said, adding that rescue operations are underway.
Accident relief trains and other rescue equipment have been engaged and helpline numbers have been issued, he said.
The CPRO said around 100 passengers were in the two ill-fated trains.
