The highly anticipated trailer for Emraan Hashmi's upcoming film *Ground Zero* has been released, offering a gripping glimpse into a tense narrative set in the Kashmir Valley of the 2000s.
Hashmi takes on the role of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dubey, who spearheads a pivotal operation culminating in the takedown of the notorious terrorist mastermind, Ghazi Baba.
Opening with a harrowing scene of terrorists targeting BSF soldiers, the trailer sets the stage for mounting tensions within the valley. Following the loss of 60-70 soldiers in rapid succession, Hashmi's character, hailed by a superior officer as their best, is introduced. Unlike typical tales centered around counterterrorism, 'Ground Zero' distinguishes itself with Hashmi's portrayal of Dubey, a man determined to shift the mindset of the region's youth, aiming to replace violence with creativity, and paintbrushes with pistols.
However, when Officer Dubey suddenly calls for a "prahar" (attack), it becomes evident that systemic issues are at play.

Ajay Devgn has given a resounding endorsement to Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, 'Kesari: Chapter 2', by unveiling its much-anticipated trailer. The movie, which also stars R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, is set against the backdrop of the grim aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre on April 13, 1919.
The trailer introduces viewers to Akshay Kumar's character, lawyer Sankaran Nair, during an intense courtroom scene. With palpable tension, Nair challenges the perpetrator of the massacre, General Dyer, asking if there was any warning issued before the brutal gunfire. Dyer's chilling response is simply, "No."
Dyer attempts to justify his actions by labeling the people at Jallianwala Bagh as "terrorists" armed with weapons. Nair counters with a poignant query, questioning the absurdity of the claim by asking what weapons would be found in the hands of infants&mdash;"Their kadas? Or their clenched fists?"
The trailer then provides glimpses of haunting scenes from the massacre: individuals severely wounded, children crying out in fear, and desperate attempts to escape with many jumping into wells as the gates are locked.
A compelling moment arises when Sankaran Nair declares, &ldquo;We are suing the crown for genocide," defying the oppressive powers of the time.
R Madhavan makes a striking entrance as Neville McKinley, a &ldquo;moody but brilliant&rdquo; lawyer, setting the stage for an epic courtroom battle.
