&lsquo;KGF&rsquo; star Yash has begun shooting for his highly anticipated film &lsquo;Toxic.&rsquo; The Kannada actor announced the news by posting a photo on social media. First announced in December, the film, directed by Geethu Mohandas, is set against a backdrop of crime and drugs.
Yash shared an Instagram photo with the film&rsquo;s producer, K. Venkata Narayana. The picture shows the actor and producer shaking hands and smiling. Yash captioned the post: &lsquo;The journey begins #Toxic.&rsquo;
Shortly after the actor shared the picture, his fans filled the comments section with well-wishes. One fan referred to him as 'the real hero,' while many others wished him &lsquo;the very best&rsquo; for his new project.
A source told Hindustan Times, &lsquo;The film is set between the 1950s and 1970s. An entire world of Toxic has been created &mdash; a larger-than-life version of that era, yet very authentic. The set is situated on the outskirts of Bangalore, and the level of detail is something that will blow the audience&rsquo;s mind.&rsquo;
Before starting filming, Yash was spotted visiting several temples in Karnataka with producer Venkat K. Narayana and their families. Their spiritual journey included stops at the Shri Sadashiva Rudra Surya Temple, Shri Manjunatheshwara Temple in Dharmasthala, and the Kukke Subramanya Temple in Subramanya. This ritual is part of Yash&rsquo;s tradition of seeking blessings and ensuring a positive start for his new projects, much to the delight of his fans.

Research conducted at the University of South Australia, found that full-time workers who work in a toxic work environment and are employed by organisations that fail to prioritise their employees' mental health have a 300% increased risk of being diagnosed with depression.
Additionally, the study found that in such workplaces, long working hours (41-48 hours a week and upwards of 55 hours a week) were detrimental to employees' <a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/askthedoctor-dealing-with-mental-health-matters-in-covid-times-1619794303882" target="_blank">mental health</a>, even when workers felt engaged in what they were doing. The research was done with 1,084 employees working in New South Wales, Western Australia and Southern Australia.
According to the study, a workplace usually becomes toxic when the toxicity starts flowing from the top, with poor management practices, priorities and values. Evidence shows that companies who fail to reward or acknowledge their employees for hard work, impose unreasonable demands on workers and do not give them autonomy, are placing their staff at a much greater risk of depression.
As per the findings, male participants were more likely to develop major depression symptoms as a result of PSC than the females in the study.
