The World number 1 fought back from a set down to beat&nbsp;Milos Raonic&nbsp;in the final.

After an awful first set it didn't seem Novak&nbsp;Djokovic's day but the World number 1 bounced back to defeat Milos Raonic 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 and lifted his 2nd&nbsp;Western and Southern Open title in New York on Saturday. With the win, he not only&nbsp;tied Nadal's&nbsp;all-time-career ATP Masters 1000 record of 35 titles but&nbsp;Djokovic is now one of 5 players in the Open Era to win 80 career singles titles. Moreover, the Serbian also became the first player to win all 9 Masters tournaments twice. Djokovic&nbsp;who took his yearlong unbeaten streak to 23 also had a very sweet message for his fans after the victory.

"We miss you, first of all. I hope you are enjoying tennis, at least on the TV screens. We are grateful to have the opportunity to compete. PATCH&nbsp;And it is definitely unusual, very strange circumstances. But we accept it. We have to get used to it. We embrace it as well. And I think everyone is trying to do their best to make sure that the tournament is organised in the best possible way, that everybody is safe and everybody can compete."
