The 2024 Tony Awards were held on June 16 at the Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts in New York. Hosted by Ariana DeBose for the third year in a row, the ceremony was broadcast live on CBS.
&lsquo;Merrily We Roll Along&rsquo; won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, while &lsquo;Stereophonic&rsquo; was named Best Play. &lsquo;Appropriate&rsquo; won the award for Best Revival of a Play.
Notable winners included Daniel Radcliffe, Sarah Paulson, and Jeremy Strong, all winning their first Tonys. Dede Ayite also made history as the first Black woman to win a Tony for Best Costume Design of a Play.
