Franklin, whose face adorns the US $100 note, was an author, inventor, philosopher, diplomat, and a journalist and publisher. One of the most famous aspects of his life is his strict daily routine which he mentioned in his autobiography.
Here is what it was.
5 to 7 AM: Rise, wash, and address Powerful Goodness! Contrive day&rsquo;s business, and take the resolution of the day: prosecute the present study, and breakfast. Ask the morning question - what good shall I do this day?
8 to 11 AM: Work.
12 to1 PM: Read, or overlook my accounts, and dine.
2 to 5 PM: Work.
6 to 9 PM: Put things in their places. Supper. Music or diversion, or conversation. Examination of the day. Ask the evening question - what good have I done today?
10 PM to 4 AM: Sleep.
