Dhamaka| Netflix
In 'Dhamaka', Kartik Aaryan plays a TV news anchor who uses a terrorist attack to his advantage. Directed by Ram Madhvani, 'Dhamaka' is the remake of a South Korean thriller, 'The Terror Live. Kartik plays the role of a journalist, Arjun Pathak who gets a call from a terrorist on his radio show, which opens up the possibility of him returning to his television fame to reclaim his lost glory. 'Dhamaka' also stars Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash in key roles.

The new season picks up right where it left off. It also explores what happened to Carole Baskin's missing husband, Don Lewis, who vanished in 1997 and was declared legally dead in 2002.

Netflix's movies and series that left people outraged!

Streaming giant Netflix has literally become a pervasive part of nearly all of our lives. And with its daily dose of horror, thriller, comedy, or romance genre, there's bound to be some content that's a bit problematic and draws controversy for one reason or another. Well, enter in the world of the streaming giant Netflix's most controversial movies and web-series.
'13 Reasons Why' Two years after '13 Reasons Why' part 1 hit Netflix, the streaming site edited out the show's narrator Hannah Baker's graphic suicide scene. The move came after several protests against the suicide sequence. After consulting with medical experts, the streaming site realised that it was best to not have Hannah's exact suicide method on display for viewers. Not just this, '13 Reasons Why' came under fire for its portrayal of many sensitive subjects including rape, drug addiction, and much more.
 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl'
Netflix's recent offering 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' starring Janhvi Kapoor in the titular role attracted severe backlash due to its negative portrayal of the Indian Armed Forces. The IAF later wrote a letter to Censor Board stating that they found certain scenes and dialogues in the movie and trailer portraying&nbsp;the IAF&nbsp;in a&nbsp;negative light.&nbsp;The letter further raised objection over presenting some situations in a misleading manner and hinting at&nbsp;inappropriate work culture against women in IAF.&nbsp;
 'Bird Box'&nbsp;
'Bird Box' drew criticism for its inclusion of actual footage of a train wreckage which had led to 47 real life deaths. After public outcry, Netflix agreed to re-edit the movie without the actual footage out of respect to the real victims. Apart from this, the film grabbed eyeballs when it inspired a 'Bird Box challenge' wherein people attempted to do everyday activities while being blindfolded. This prompted Netflix to issue several statements, requesting the audience to not participate in such events.
Delhi Crime
Based on the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape, 'Delhi Crime' landed in a legal soup when&nbsp;Anil Sharma, the&nbsp;SHO&nbsp; of Delhi's Vasant Vihar claimed that his character depiction in show as a 'dumb and slow' officer was fabricated by the makers for 'commercial profit'. However, the director of the show Richie Mehta later allegedly apologised to the SHO and said that 'some of the events, dialogue and chronology of the show have been fictionalized for dramatic purposes'.

A real-crime documentary miniseries on zoo-keeper Joe Exotic, 'Tiger King' too had its share of uproar. After the netizens became obsessed with the series and the show reached its peak success, a wave of criticism followed. Both the Humane Society and PETA slammed the makers for glossing over the issue of tiger abuse. They also brought up the devastating consequences when baby tigers are separated from their mothers too early in light.

But as the chorus for the deletion of the scene became shriller, Netflix obliged. &nbsp;Brian Yorkey's teen drama also drew flak for portrayal of subjects including rape, drug addiction and much more. &nbsp; 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' which saw Janhvi Kapoor in a titular role too entered court room. The India Air Force didn&rsquo;t like how they were projected in the film based on the 1999 Kargil War. From accusing the makers of presenting misleading situation to stating that IAF was portrayed in bad light, the air force asked the censor board to ban the film, which refused to do so. The Delhi High Court recently refused to order Netflix to stop streaming the film.

Netflix had to issue several requests as there were incidents where people attempted to do everyday activities while being blindfolded.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; 'Delhi Crime' The fictionalized account of the Nirbhaya gangrape case didn&rsquo;t go well with a Delhi police officer. Anil Sharma, the station house officer at the Vasant Vihar police station argued that his character depiction as a 'dumb and slow' officer was fabricated for 'commercial profit'.
