3 Dalit sisters, all minors, attacked with acid in UP

Three&nbsp; Dalit sisters were attacked with acid while they were asleep inside their residence in&nbsp;Uttar Pradesh&rsquo;s Gonda district, the police said on Tuesday. The minor girls have been admitted to a hospital and are currently stable, police officials said.&nbsp;The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday while they were sleeping on the terrace. An FIR has been registered against unknown persons. The family members told police that all the three sisters came running downstairs, crying in pain in the mid of the night. The girls&rsquo; parents recently fixed the marriage of their eldest daughter, a high school passout.&nbsp; She received the maximum burn injuries out of the three girls.&nbsp;

Molester thrashed in Biswanath

A group of boys and girls thrashed an alleged molester. The video has gone viral in social media. The incident happened at the Biswanath College road in broad day light. According to local residents, around a week ago three girls went to take admission at the Biswanath College. A person tried to molest them, he used offensive and derogatory language and made obscene gestures at them. Fortunately, three passerby youths came forward to rescue the girls and caught the man. They thrashed the man publicly. The girls also joined them and slapped him out of rage. Local residents have alleged that the Biswanath College Road has become a safe den for some eve-teasers and anti-social elements and no woman or girl can pass by that stretch safely. Many victims have lodged complaints with the police.
