The Telegu Desum Party's chief Chandrababu Naidu on May 5 said that his party will give four percent reservation for the Muslims in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu's comments came days after PM Modi in a public rally claimed that he won't let the quotas of Dalits, Adivasis and OBC's be given to Muslims.
India Today reported that the TDP chief said that his party from the beginning had supported four percent reservation for Muslims.&nbsp;
Chandrababu Naidu, last week announced that his party will provide financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh assistance to the Muslims to perform Hajj as soon as his party comes to power.
However, the NDA partner TDP' joint manifesto doesn't have any mention of the four percent reservation for the Muslims as promised by the TDP chief during a public rally.
The manifesto focuses on six ambitious aspects including a monthly pension of Rs 1,500 for women aged between 19-59, the creation of 20 lakh jobs, giving Rs 3, 000 monthly unemployment assistance and free bus services to the women.
Pertinently, PM Modi made a controversial statement during a public rally in Zaheerabad Telangana saying that he won't let the quotas of Dalits, Adivasis and Backward Classes be given to Muslims based on religion.&nbsp;

Here are the three important changes in income tax rules that will come into effect from Friday, July 1, 2022:- 
1. PAN-Aadhaar Linking Fine to Increase
Those who have not yet linked their PAN Aadhaar will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 if they try to link both the documents from July 1. Till June 30, the fine has been capped at Rs 500. The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the deadline to link PAN-Aadhaar to March 23, but people will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 if it is done on or after July 1.
2. TDS on cryptocurrencies: After the imposition of 30 per cent flat income tax on cryptocurrencies from 1st April 2022, the GoI had proposed an additional 1 per cent TDS on cryptocurrency transactions in the union budget 2022, irrespective of the gain or loss incurred by the investor.
One per cent Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) on all cryptocurrency transactions will be levied from July 1st. 
3. TDS On Doctors, Social Media Influencers:
FM Sitharaman had introduced a new section (194R) in the Income Tax Act 1961 in the Union Budget 2022, which proposes a 10 per cent TDS on monetary benefits received by doctors and social media influencers through sales promotion (on social media) beginning July 1, 2022.

1. PAN-Aadhaar Linking Fine to Increase

Axis Bank:&nbsp;Will charge customers 25 paise for every SMS alert subject to a maximum of&nbsp;₹25 a month.&nbsp;
Milk Price Hike: Amul has hiked its milk prices,by&nbsp;₹&nbsp;2 per litre.In Ahmedabad, Amul Gold will now cost&nbsp;₹&nbsp;58 per litre, Amul Taaza&nbsp;₹&nbsp;46 per litre

Five changes in the tax system that will come into effect from April 1, 2021:
1. Tax on PF contributions: During the Budget 2021 speech, Finance Minister Nirmala&nbsp;Sitharaman&nbsp;announced that annual PF contribution of ₹2.5 lakh and above&nbsp;will be taxable from the upcoming financial year.
2. Higher TDS&nbsp;rate: Move to increase&nbsp;TDS&nbsp;and TCS&nbsp;rates came in order to make more people file income tax returns or ITR.&nbsp;If TDS&nbsp;of ₹50,000 or more has been deducted for the past two years and such person has not filed ITR, the rate of TDS/TCS will now be 5%.
3. No ITR&nbsp;for senior citizens: Individuals of 75 years of age or above will be exempted from filing income tax returns if they have no other income but pension and interest income from the same bank.&nbsp;The paying bank will deduct the necessary tax on their income.
4. Pre-filled ITR&nbsp;forms:&nbsp;In order to ease compliance for the taxpayer, details of capital gains from listed securities, dividend income, and interest from banks, post office, etc. will be pre-filled in the ITR&nbsp;forms.&nbsp;Details of salary income, tax payments, TDS, etc. already come pre-filled.
5.&nbsp;LTC cash voucher scheme: The government notified the LTC cash voucher scheme's exemption in place of a leave travel concession (LTC). Under this scheme, an employee can claim an exemption under LTC allowance against the purchase of specified goods/services.
