Swapnil&rsquo;s sister Suprada Phaterpekar, who was present at the time of the incident, has told news agency ANI that her brother wanted to click a selfie with Sonu Nigam, &amp; when he was doing so, there was a dispute between him &amp; singer&rsquo;s bodyguard.

Singer Sonu Nigam and his team were attacked during a concert in Mumbai on February 20. Following the incident, the singer approached the Chembur police station to register a complaint, prompting the cops to file a case. A case has been registered against Swapnil Phaterpekar, son of a Shiv Sena MLA for voluntarily causing hurt, wrongful restraint and other charges.
Now, Swapnil&rsquo;s sister Suprada Phaterpekar, who was present at the time of the incident, has told news agency ANI that her brother wanted to click a selfie with Sonu Nigam, &amp; when he was doing so, there was a dispute between him &amp; singer&rsquo;s bodyguard.
She said it was just a &lsquo;fan moment gone wrong&rsquo; and they later apologized to <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/day-after-the-attack-sonu-nigam-makes-his-first-public-appearance-says-everything-is-okay-1676960727399">Sonu Nigam</a> as well.
Sonu Nigam and his team were performing in Chembur on Monday and they were attacked over a selfie. In the scuffle, Sonu&rsquo;s guru Ghulam Mustafa Khan&rsquo;s son and his close aid Rabbani Khan along with his bodyguard sustained some injuries.
