Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanonand Jim Sarbh-starrer Raabta, which released in 2017, was a flop at the box office. The romantic action-thriller, which was based on the concept of reincarnated star-crossed lovers, marked the directorial debut of producer Dinesh Vijan.   In a recent interview with Film Companion, Kriti revealed how she and Sushant Singh Rajput felt depressed about the failure of their 2017 romantic action thriller 'Raabta'.   She shared about the time when the two actors sat down with the film's director Dinesh Vijan to discuss why the film wasn't liked by the people and the critics.  
Kriti said, “It was a funny night. We were all sulking, we were depressed, we’d gone through really bad reviews and we didn’t know what to say. Dino was just like, ‘Aajao yaar, mood kharab hai. We went there and opened a bottle of wine. Dino said, ‘I think it’s the flashbacks, I should have made it simple. Why did we go tribal?’ Earlier, there was a draft that had a normal raja-rani. It’s more relatable to people, right? But we felt like we wanted to go a little different. I was having a glass of wine, and I said, ‘I told you this!”  Meanwhile, on the work front, Kriti Sanon impressed the masses and the classes with her performance in the comedy-drama 'Mimi' in 2021 and is the front runner to win the Best Actress trophies this year. The actress has a packed 2022 as well with five films set to release this year.

Media reports in Sushant case not credible: CBI

The CBI has termed media reports attributed to it on its probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput as "speculative and not based on facts". The agency has denied sharing any details with media

The CBI has termed media reports attributed to it on its probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput as "speculative and not based on facts". In a statement late on Thursday evening, the CBI said it is conducting investigation into Sushant Rajput's death in a systematic and professional way. The agency stated that as a matter of policy, it does not share details of ongoing investigation. It further clarified that the&nbsp;CBI spokesperson or any team member has not shared any details of investigation with media. "The details being reported and attributed to CBI are not credible," it said.

New Delhi, PTI: The CBI has termed media reports attributed to it on its probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput as "speculative and not based on facts". In a statement issued late on Thursday evening, the CBI said it is conducting investigation into Sushant Rajput's death in a systematic and professional way.
"Certain media reports attributed to CBI investigation are speculative and not based on facts. It is reiterated that as a matter of policy, CBI does not share details of ongoing investigation," the agency said.
"CBI spokesperson or any team member has not shared any details of investigation with media. The details being reported and attributed to CBI are not credible," it said.
Sushant Rajput, 34, was found dead at his apartment in suburban Bandra in Mumbai on June 14.
The CBI had filed an FIR (First Information Repot) taking over the probe from Bihar Police into the alleged abetment to suicide case filed by the actor's father KK Singh in Patna against Sushant Rajput's friend Rhea Chakraborty and her family.
Sushant Singh's father in his complaint to Bihar Police had alleged that Chakraborty along with her family members had misappropriated Sushant Rajput's wealth, which was denied by Rhea Chakraborty in TV interviews.
The CBI Director has handed over the probe to the special investigation branch which is camping in Mumbai and has recorded statements of Rhea Chakraborty and her family members, met police and visited the crime scene.
