Kings XI Punjab beat Mumbai in a double Super Over, stay alive in IPL 2020

Never in the history of cricket did a match go into a double Super Over but that changed on Sunday. Kings XI Punjab fought tooth and nail as their campaign hung by a thread and beat Mumbai Indians in a double Super Over. Chasing 177, KL Rahul once again led Punjab from the front and smashed a 51-ball-77 and became the first&nbsp;Indian player to score 500 runs in 3 consecutive IPL seasons. He though couldn't take his side over the finish line as the game ended in a tie and for&nbsp;the&nbsp;first time in IPL history both games of a double header went into a Super Over.&nbsp; If that wasn't enough, it also couldn't separate the 2 teams as the scores were tied once again. Mumbai managed 11 runs in the second Super Over, which Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal chased down with ease. Punjab's 2nd consecutive win means that they can still qualify for the playoffs on their own, given they win the remaining 5 games.

But their batsmen too have a lot of work to do in terms of shot selection.&nbsp;Dhoni's&nbsp;men go into the clash with an upper hand as they have won 15 of the 21 encounters vs Delhi since 2008.

Moreover, even before the start of the tournament, CSK&nbsp;suffered 2 casualties in Suresh&nbsp;Raina&nbsp;and Harbhajan Singh, who pulled out of the cash-rich league due to personal reasons. Where Bhajji's experience may have come in handy on the turning tracks in the UAE, Raina&nbsp;has been the backbone of CSK&nbsp;over the years.&nbsp;
Keeping all that aside, most Indian cricket fans eagerly await for CSK&nbsp;to take the field, as it would give them a chance to see Thala&nbsp;Dhoni&nbsp;back in action. England's Sam Curran who may turn out to be their x-factor this season will also arrive later. But Daddy's army has time and again showed their ability to bounce and their fans would hope that&nbsp;CSK&nbsp;overcomes their blues and paint the&nbsp;UAE&nbsp;yellow.
