Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand art using 500 kg of mangoes to spread voting awareness.&nbsp;

Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand art using 500 kg of mangoes at Puri beach, with an appeal to voters to exercise their franchise in the ongoing elections.
Pattnaik created the art on a 2,000 sq ft area with texts on sand that reads &lsquo;Chunav ka Parv Desh ka Garv&rsquo; and &lsquo;Your Vote Your Voice&rsquo;.
Polling for six parliamentary constituencies and 42 assembly segments in Odisha are currently underway in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections.
Pattnaik said the sand art took around five hours to complete with help from students of his institute.
&ldquo;This is summer time and mangoes are the favourite of all, so to appeal to electors to vote tomorrow, we used mangoes in our sculpture,&rdquo; he said on Friday.

Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik celebrated the win of 'RRR' &amp; 'The Elephant Whisperers' at Oscars 2023.

Indians celebrated on Monday after &lsquo;Naatu Naatu&rsquo;, the hit song from the action movie &lsquo;RRR&rsquo;, won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, and Kartiki Gonsalves&rsquo; &lsquo;The Elephant Whisperers&rsquo; bagged an Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Film category.
Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik celebrated the Oscar wins by creating a 6-foot-high sand sculpture at Odisha&rsquo;s Puri beach showing the golden trophy along with 'RRR&rsquo;s song &lsquo;Naatu Naatu&rsquo; and &lsquo;The Elephant Whisperers&rsquo;.
He has also shared the glimpse on social media, sharing pictures, he wrote, 'Congratulations! Proud moment for Indian Cinema!. While &lsquo;#NaatuNaatu&rsquo; from #RRR wins the #Oscars for the Best Original Song, #TheElephantWhisperers wins the Oscars for Best Documentary Short Film at the #Oscar2023. Padma Shri honoured sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik has created a sand art on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day at Niladri Beach in Odisha.
Steel bowls, earthen lamps and about 5 to 7 tons of sand were used to make this beautiful sand art. It took 5 to 6 hours to complete this art. Patnaik conveyed best wishes to the nation for Republic Day by sharing his artwork on social media.

Internationally-acclaimed sand artist&nbsp;Sudarsan Pattnaik, gave a befitting tribute to former President&nbsp; and&nbsp;Bharat Ratna, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, who passed away on the 31st of August.
He made a beautiful sand art at Odisha's&nbsp;Puri&nbsp;beach, decorating it with a wreath of flowers.
His work featured a sculpture of Mukherjee&nbsp;along with the text 'Tribute to Bharat&nbsp;Ratna&nbsp;Pranab&nbsp;Mukherjee'.&nbsp;
