As per a Pinkvilla report, actor Shraddha Kapoor will play the role of Kashmiri girl Rukhsana who killed a Lashkar-E-Taiba (LeT) militant.&nbsp;

Actor Shraddha Kapoor is currently busy shooting for Luv Rajan's next, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. The 'Stree' actor is reportedly locked in to play the role of a Kashmiri girl Rukhsana who killed a Lashkar-E-Taiba (LeT) militant.&nbsp;
A source told Pinkvilla, 'Makers of the film wanted someone who would look like a 20-year-old onscreen to play Rukhsana. Shraddha undoubtedly will do justice to the role. And hence she has been roped into the movie. Shraddha's role in the film is completely opposite of what she has portrayed in most of her movies.'
Though there is no official confirmation about the same from the makers of the film or from Shraddha Kapoor.
On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor recently did a cameo in Varun Dhawan's starrer 'Bhediya' song 'Thumkeshvari'. She has also confirmed the sequel of her horror-comedy 'Stree'.

The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, shows how strangers Reet and Ruhan cross paths, and their journey leads them to an abandoned mansion that is haunted by the dreaded spirit Manjulika. This is the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022. &nbsp;
'Roohi' (2021) &nbsp;
Directed by Hardik Mehta, the film starred Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Varun Sharma in the lead role. The film revolves around Roohi who is kidnapped by Bhawra and Kattanni on the orders of Guniya Bhai, who wants to marry her off to his client. However, the boys soon realize that Roohi is possessed by a demon.&nbsp;

Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the movie was directed by Amar Kaushik. It shows how the people of a small town Chanderi live in constant fear of 'Stree' who attacks men at night during festivals. Made on a budget of ₹20 crores, the film made a gross collection of ₹180.76 crores. &lsquo;Stree&rsquo; entered the ₹100 crore club within 18 days of its release. &nbsp;

The year 2018 saw the release of Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’. The film, which starred the very versatile actor Rajkummar Rao as her co-star, went onto become a hit at the box office.
As per a report in Peeping Moon, the prequel of ‘Stree’ will feature a flashback of a girl who came to meet her and the complications which starts thereafter. The film’s leading man is yet to be finalized.
Besides ‘Stree’s prequel, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in Luv Ranjan’s untitled film with Ranbir Kapoor. Besides this, Shraddha will also be seen in ‘Chaalbaaz In London’. Rumors have it that the shooting for ‘Chaalbaaz In London’ has been postponed. The film is being directed by Pankaj Parashar.

Report: Shraddha Kapoor to star in prequel of 'Stree,' project to commence from August 2022

Producer Dinesh Vijan is reportedly planning a prequel to his 2018 film '<a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/shraddha-kapoor-gets-teary-eyed-during-a-virtual-fan-meet-1646050261953" target="_blank">Stree</a>,' in which Shraddha Kapoor delivered a spine-chilling performance. As per a report in PeepingMoon, Shraddha has agreed to reprise her role in the horror-comedy sequel and the film is likely to go on floors in August this year.
Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar will reportedly be directing the film. He is known for his work in films like 'Mauli,' 'Zombivali' and Voot Select series 'The Raikeer Case'&nbsp; 'Stree' also starred Rajkummar Rao in the lead role.&nbsp;
